The Douglas Conservation Commission meeting on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 7:00 pm will receive BlueWave Solar’s 45 Oak St project update on the re-design of the three failed infiltration basins.
Sediment-laden runoff and discharge from the construction site of the 45 Oak Street BlueWave Solar project continues to impact the neighborhood and our water resources each time it rains: Oak St down to Parker Court, Douglas and Holt and Torrey Roads, Sutton and carried directly into Manchaug Pond, Stevens Pond and the greater Mumford River and into the woods towards a certified coldwater fishery stream feeding Manchaug Pond.
Test results at the construction site show no heavy metals but 6 PFAS chemicals as well as Total Phosphorus. Visit our website News page for new report documents and more information on PFAS.
