Calling all members…  it is time for the ANNUAL MEETING of the Manchaug Pond Foundation!

Saturday morning, August 21st, at the Dining Hall of the YMCA Camp Blanchard, Manchaug Road in Sutton, we will hold our annual business meeting over coffee and pastries.   Pay your dues online today or at the door to attend!  Refreshments will be offered for 9:30 AM with the business meeting starting at 10:00 AM.

Agenda to include:

  • Approval of the minutes of August 29, 2020
  • Introduction of new officers recently elected by the Board of Directors
  • Budget report: 2020 Budget vs Actual
  • Committee/program reports
  • Old and new business from the membership.
  • Presentation and approval of budget for 2022 fiscal year

Plan to check out the educational/informational material on our new s. 319 Non-point Pollution Grant, water quality testing/monitoring, and safe boating.

Purchase or order your MPF Gear: exclusive MPF Lake Art, logowear fleece, hooded sweatshirts, baseball hats, lake photos, and more will be on sale as well as flares for the Labor Day weekend Lighting of the Shoreline.

All are welcome to join the Manchaug Pond Foundation to be part of the continued effort of advocacy, education and action in the preservation of Manchaug Pond!  Volunteers are needed for a number of projects and initiatives from carpentry (construction of a kiosk) to heading-up events and fundraising to narrating educational webinars for hobby farms.  If you haven’t already, renew/join today making your tax-deductible dues/donation online or by mail. According to our bylaws, only paid members can vote at the meeting. Contact us to volunteer!
