Visit Manchaug Pond during Waters Farm Days at our Overlook at 54 Waters Road  across from past member and secretary, Dorothea Waters Moran’s farm house.

Visit with the stewards of the overlook, the 100 acre viewshed, and the lake- the Manchaug Pond Foundation! As you enjoy this vista during Waters Farm Days, Vice President Rae Johnson will be on hand with a photo display highlighting our latest EPA/DEP water quality grant with brochures providing information so that you can help protect our water resources. MPF Gear, photos and lake products will be on sale. Learn of our work together advocating for Manchaug Pond & its watershed: protecting water quality, promoting safe boating, caring for the wild spaces which enhance the lake and securing necessary program funds and resources. Take in the breathtaking views and visit with the people who work to preserve and protect this community resource and saved the 100 acre watershed parcel and scenic overlook from development.We’ll tell you how the 100 acres was saved from development by the Manchaug Pond Foundation and about our latest grants in water quality and watershed conservation. Providing a spectacular view, property preserved for watershed protection, on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the Waters Farm Fall Festival to learn more about what you can do to preserve our earth’s water resources.  Everyone lives in a watershed! so know what you can do to protect the quality of your drinking water and the streams, lakes and rivers in your neighborhood and most especially our 380 acre Manchaug Pond!
