14 boats lined up for the on-lake Poker Run.
A straight was the winning hand in this year’s on-lake Poker Run with Nate and Allie Gauthier taking home $465. Second was three Aces played by Sue Toland giving her a win of $280. Third best hand was three 6s with an ace, queen kicker which brought Marty Jo Henry a $185 win.

Further, our Fundraising Committee Chair, Karen Bronson, reports the event went very well and was very well received with many people looking forward to the annual on-lake event. This year many new faces introduced themselves at the start with a total of 77 hands played topping last year’s 60. The event brought 14 boats with residents, campers, visitors, and their guests lining up to play and a number of people playing on shore.

This event raised over $1,000 for our preservation work benefiting the 380 acre public lake, Manchaug Pond, that we all love and enjoy!
A big thanks to the Fundraising Committee for organizing, all the event volunteers and hosting residents, and the many who played and are part of the Manchaug Pond Foundation!
