Calling all members… it is time for the ANNUAL MEETING of the Manchaug Pond Foundation!
Tomorrow morning, Saturday, August 24th, we will come together for our annual business meeting of the members at the YMCA Camp Blanchard facility on the shores of Manchaug Pond – 10th for the Foundation and 52st for the MPA – starting with the breakfast social! If you love Manchaug Pond – whether a lake resident, camper, boat ramp visitor, family, friend, or supporter of this beautiful community natural resource – join today with a minimum donation of $35. Pay your dues online or at the door to attend. Coffee and breakfast buffet will be served at 9:30 AM with the business meeting to follow starting at 10:00 AM.
Agenda to include:
- Approval of the 2018 Annual Meeting minutes
- Introductions to new officers recently elected by the Board of Directors
- Treasurer’s financial report for 2018 and 2019 Profit and Loss year to-date
- Election of Directors by the members to fill a couple vacancies and involve more members
- Approval of 2020 budget
- Presentation of awards for the 2019 Boat Decorating Contest & Parade
- Old and New Business from the membership.
Guest speaker: No speaker this year as we have much to report!
Educational/informational material on water quality, safe boating, and more offered.
MPF Gear offered for sale for you to purchase and order: exclusive MPF Lake Art, logowear, lake photos, mugs, magnets and more as well as flares for the Labor Day weekend Lighting of the Shoreline.
Also be sure to sign-up for a team or committee and to register, sponsor and volunteer for the annual The DAM Race to be held Saturday, October 19th and the fall watershed-wide cleanup Saturday, October 26th.
