Put time aside this Saturday morning for the Manchaug Pond Foundation’s Annual Meeting of the Members!
Head to the YMCA camp at 9 -9:30 AM where we’ll start the morning with a delicious breakfast buffet and social with neighbors and friends of Manchaug Pond. Over a cup of coffee, we’ll jump into the business meeting with the powerpoint presentation and formal reports by the officers and committee chairs giving an overview of the efforts to enhance Manchaug Pond and promote safety and correct use, as well as a review of upcoming events, and old business and new from all in attendance. This year is an election year for the Board, so the membership will elect a slate of directors presented by the Ballot Committee to serve a two year term. After business we’ll adjourn for an informative presentation by one of our stormwater/non-point source pollution grant engineers on rain gardens, buffers areas and other landscape changes you can make to protect the lake from nutrients and sediment.
If you haven’t paid your dues and/or wish to make a donation, you can do so at the door. Our MPF Logowear will also be on sale with a whole car load of new products being offered as well as professional photos, matted and ready for framing of the lake and watershed.
